China Ai Companies Growth: China has announced an ambitious scheme on Monday, under which the country is preparing to give a new direction by connecting the energy sector and Artificial Intelligence (AI). This announcement has been made at a time when the number of AI companies in China has increased from 1,400 to 5,000 in the last five years.

World Smart Industry Expo revealed

Chinese Deputy Industries and Information Technology Minister Shin Guobin shared these figures during the World Smart Industry Expo held in Chongking. According to the report of the government news agency Xinhua, the faster increase in the AI ​​region is giving China a strong position not only in the energy industry, but also in the e-vehicle sector.

Roadmap up to 2027

China’s new plan aims to create a strong innovation system of AI-Energy Integration by 2027. Under this:

  • Data sharing mechanism will be improved.
  • Strong coordination between computing power and power supply will be established.
  • Software and AI will be deeply included in the energy sector.
  • During this time special attention will be paid to smart factories and AI investment, so that production and energy use can become more efficient.

Achievements so far

China has so far established more than 40,000 smart factories. 11 National AI Innovation Zone and 17 National Demonstation Zone have been formed. The National AI industry fund of 60 billion yuan (about $ 8.4 billion) has been launched. Along with this, China is also setting the AI ​​Ethics Rules, China-BRICS AI Development Center and more than 240 technical standards.

Vision by 2030

The next major goal of the government is to use AI in the energy sector by 2030 to reach the global level. Till that time there will be special emphasis on developing more advanced coordination mechanisms between power supply and computing power.
