Health Corner: A recent study has revealed that 97 percent of young and affluent Indians prefer to eat almonds, fruits and other dry fruits for breakfast in their happy moments.
The survey conducted by Market Research Company Lipsos found that having breakfast for young and rich adult Indians is a way to express happiness. Whenever these people are happy, 97 percent of these prefer to take almonds, fruits and dry fruits in breakfast.
In this survey, 3,037 rich urban men and women aged 18 to 35 of Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chandigarh, Nagpur, Bhopal and Coimbatur were consulted. In Bangalore, Chandigarh and Coimbatur, 99 percent of the people talked about taking almonds for breakfast on the occasion of happiness.
The survey also stated that young and rich adults want delicious, warm and crispy things in breakfast, but at the same time they also prefer healthy and nutritious snacks. This shows that there is a positive change in the mindset of the people and they are getting more attracted towards healthy breakfast.
The survey also revealed that 82 percent of the people said that they do not feel any guilt after having breakfast. In this context, the maximum 92 percent people are from Mumbai, followed by 86 percent in Chandigarh and 85 percent in Bengaluru.
