Arsenalace Myles Lewis-Skelly has been left out of England's squad for this evening's World Cup qualifier Serbia after travelling with the rest of the squad to Belgrade.

The 18-year-old played the full 90 minutes in the Three Lions' 2-0 win over Andorra on Saturday evening. However, he won't be involved against Serbia this evening after Thomas Tuchel's brutal decision.

football.london understands that there is no current indication that the exclusion is due to an injury. Lewis-Skelly hasn't started a game for the Gunners yet this season with Riccardo Calafiori preferred.

The versatile academy graduate played 39 times for Mikel Arteta's team last season after breaking through. However, his minutes in the first three games of the season have come off the bench.

His exclusion is a boost for Arsenal ahead of a tough test against Nottingham Forest on Saturday. The north Londoners play seven times between now and the next international break including tough games against Manchester City and Newcastle United.

The upcoming period of domestic and European football sees Arsenal play three games every seven days for the next three weeks after their Champions League campaign starts.

Elsewhere, Declan Rice, Noni Madueke and Eberechi Eze could still play in Serbia. All three started the 2-0 win over Andorra and are in contention to feature again.
