According to Theira fan-shot video of DJ Koo visiting Hsu’s grave was shared on social media Tuesday and quickly went viral. The tombstone now bears the English inscription “Remember Together Forever,” alongside a Korean line that reads: “Love you forever – Jun Jun,” referencing DJ Koo’s real name, Koo Jun Yup.
The phrase “Remember Together Forever” also holds personal significance for the couple. Both had it tattooed on their bodies as a symbol of eternal commitment, inspired by the French band Air’s song “Remember,” which they loved when they first began dating. The tattoos also reminded them to cherish the emotions of their early romance and to value the present.
In addition, Koo has tattooed Hsu’s name in both Chinese and Korean on his body, along with the coordinates of Taiwan—a gesture marking the island as his second home.
Hsu passed away in February at the age of 49 in Japan, reportedly due to complications to pneumonia.
In a past interview with Vogueshe described her approach to love: “If you love someone, pursue them. If you don’t love anymore, then break up. Because if you’re not with that person, you’ll never know what you could feel.”
Hsu and Koo first met in 1998 when he performed in Taiwan, and he fell for her at first sight. The pair dated until 2000, when Koo’s management agency opposed the relationship.
Hsu later married Chinese businessman Wang Xiaofei in 2011, with the marriage ending in divorce a decade later. Following the split in 2021, DJ Koo reportedly reconnected with her, and the two rekindled their romance before marrying the following year.
