Apple has officially announced the launch of its iPhone 17 seriesintroducing four models that will be available globally starting September 19. The lineup includes the base iPhone 17, which Apple calls its “best standard iPhone yet”as well as the top-end iPhone 17 Pro Maxboasting the most advanced display and performance features ever on an iPhone.

The iPhone 17 arrives in five new colours — Lavender, Mist Blue, Black, White, and Sage. It features a 6.3-inch 120Hz OLED displaypowered by the A19 chip paired with 8GB of RAM. On the camera front, the device comes with a 48MP + 12MP dual rear camera setup and a 24MP front camera for sharper selfies and video calls. A ~3600 mAh battery rounds out the package, ensuring all-day performance.

At the high end, the iPhone 17 Pro Max delivers a 6.9-inch LTPO Super Retina XDR OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10, and Dolby Vision. It supports a resolution of 1320 x 2868 pixels (~458 ppi density) with an impressive 92.2% screen-to-body ratio. The device is powered by the A19 Pro chipcoupled with 12GB RAMand packs a 4832 mAh battery with PD2.0 25W fast charging.

The Pro Max also includes Ceramic Shield glass (2025 generation) for added durability and comes in 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage optionswith no card slot. Running on iOS 26it brings a premium design with an 8.3mm thickness and delivers pro-grade camera capabilities with a 48MP main sensor supporting 2160p video recording.

With these additions, Apple continues to raise the bar for smartphones, combining cutting-edge performance, display innovation, and premium design across the iPhone 17 family.
