SSC MTS Vacancy 2025: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has good news regarding MTS and Havildar Recruitment 2025. The commission has made a bumper increase in the vacancy of MTS and Havildar. Now there will be recruitment for 8021 posts instead of 5464. According to the update given by SSC on Wednesday, the vacancy of MTS has been increased from 4375 to 6810, and the vacancy of Havildar has been increased from 1089 to 1211.
Out of the total 6810 vacancies of MTS, 6078 posts are for the age group 18-25, and 732 posts are for the age group 18-27. The Staff Selection Commission had invited applications in June for the Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) to be done in the ministries, offices, and departments of the Central Government, and Havildar Recruitment 2025 in the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Central Bureau of Narcotics (CBIC and CBN).
Through MTS recruitment, recruitment is done for the posts of peon, watchman, jamadar, gardener, gatekeeper, etc. in various departments of the Central Government. Along with this, recruitment will be done for the posts of Havildar in the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs and the Central Bureau of Narcotics.
SSC MTS Recruitment Exam Pattern
There will be two sessions in the SSC MTA Recruitment Exam. Both sessions are held on the same day. The first session will be on Numerical and Mathematical Ability, Reasoning Ability, and Problem Solving. 20-20 questions of 60-60 marks will be asked in both Reasoning and Maths. Section 1 will be qualifying.
Session-2
Session 2 of the exam will also be 45 minutes. In this, questions will be asked from General Awareness, English Language, and Comprehension. 25 questions each will be asked from General Awareness and English. Which will be of 75-75 marks. The final merit list for the post of MTS will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in this session. There will be negative marking in Session-2. There will be minus marking of one mark for every wrong answer.
