Museo Camera, Centre for the Photographic Arts in Gurugram, presents Touching Light: A Prelude to the Bicentennial of Photography (1827–2027)the first exhibition in India to trace the journey of analogue photography over more than 150 years. Curated by Aditya Arya, the exhibition features rare 19th-century works like the People of India series, Bourne & Shepherd’s Visiting cardand Beauties of Lucknowalongside contemporary pieces by 28 renowned photographers, including Ram Rahman, Rohit Chawla, and Serena Chopra. Blending archival treasures with modern interpretations, Touching Light celebrates the tactile, imperfect, and deeply human essence of photography as the world approaches its bicentennial.
