The Bank of Maharashtra has announced job openings for various positions, including Officer Scale-2, offering attractive salaries. Here are the details you need to know.
The recruitment drive for Officer Scale-2 (Generalist Officer) has commenced, with a total of 84 vacancies available. Interested applicants can submit their applications online through the bank's official website, bankofmaharashtra.in, before the deadline of September 30.
Candidates applying for the Officer Scale-2 position must possess a degree in graduation, BE, BTech, MSc, or MCA from a recognized institution. The age criteria stipulate a minimum age of 25 years and a maximum of 50 years, with age relaxation available for candidates from reserved categories as per government regulations.
Selected candidates will receive a competitive salary, with the basic pay for Scale II ranging from Rs 64,820 to Rs 93,960 per month. Additionally, other scales offer higher salaries: Scale III ranges from Rs 85,920 to Rs 1,05,280, Scale IV from Rs 1,02,300 to Rs 1,20,940, Scale V from Rs 1,20,940 to Rs 1,35,020, and Scale VI from Rs 1,40,500 to Rs 1,56,500 per month. The in-hand salary will increase with additional allowances.
The selection process consists of two phases. Initially, candidates will undergo a written examination to assess their skills and knowledge. Following this, an interview will be conducted, and final selections will be based on performance in both stages.
Applicants are required to pay an application fee, which is set at Rs 1,180 for general, OBC, and EWS candidates, while SC and ST candidates will pay only Rs 118.
