If you travel by train every day for work or other reasons here’s some exciting news for you. The long wait for the Vande Bharat Sleeper Train is finally coming to an end. Indian Railways is planning to launch the country’s first Vande Bharat Sleeper before Diwali and Chhath Puja this year. Most of the preparations for it are already done. What will the Vande Bharat Sleeper Train be like? This new train has been designed especially for long and medium-distance travel. It will be faster more comfortable and equipped with modern technology making the passenger experience much better than before. According to media reports Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw had said last month in Bhavnagar Gujarat that the Vande Bharat Sleeper would start running in September. However the official launch date has not been announced yet. Possible Route of Vande Bharat Sleeper train Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw told the Rajya Sabha on July 25 2025 that the first rake of the Vande Bharat Sleeper Train has already been prepared. Its prototype has been tested and all trials are complete. Although the exact route is not finalized yet media reports suggest that it may run between Delhi and Patna Darbhanga or Sitamarhi. If true then the Delhi-Patna journey which takes over 23 hours on the Rajdhani Express is projected at just 11.5 hours. Ticket Price of Vande Bharat Express train Passengers are excited about the sleeper version of Vande Bharat but the ticket prices have not been announced yet.
