Good Morning Britain viewers have voted on an X poll whether they believe the Prime Minister prioritises his party before his country. This comes following the sacking of Lord Mandelson, who lost his job yesterday (Thursday, September 11) as the UK's ambassador to the United States.

It was revealed that emails seen by the Foreign Office showed "the depth and extent of Peter Mandelson's relationship with Jeffrey Epstein". The Labour peer's sacking happened just days after former Deputy Prime Minister Angela Rayner resigned from her position after failing to pay enough tax on her £800,000 apartment in Hove.

This morning, Good Morning Britain viewers answered a poll asking if Starmer puts his party before his country. In a crushing blow to the nation's leader, 74 per cent said "yes".

Responding in the comments section, one viewer penned: "Aye, it's all a bit of a circus, innit? Seems like they're all too busy squabbling for the spotlight to remember they're meant to be serving the people. What's your take on it?"

A third echoed: "It seems no one is listening to the people." A fourth suggested: "Here, we have a government that would rather rule over ashes than give up control. Sadly, with 4 years of this chaos left, they're going to get their wish."

Despite the backlash, another penned: "If Starmer had prioritised the party over the country, then both Rayner and Mandelson would still be in the party. He's actually being a lot quicker because if this had been the Tories, they'd still be in, and they wouldn't have been sacked."

Another noted: "Following trashy GMB polls about dinghies, flags and Prince Harry, we're now asking if Keir Starmer prioritises his party before the country.

"Is GMB's metamorphosis into ITV's answer to GB News almost complete?"

Good Morning Britain airs on weekdays from 6am until 9am on ITV and ITVX.
