If you want to make something special and delicious this weekend, which your guests will also like very much, then Paneer Changezi is a great option. This dish is known for its spicy and creamy taste. Making it at home is much easier than you think. Let's know the easiest method of making restaurant-style Paneer Changezi.
Serves: 2
Ingredients:
Paneer: 250 grams (chopped into pieces)
Onion: 2 medium (finely chopped)
Tomatoes: 3 medium (make a puree)
Ginger-garlic paste: 2 teaspoons
Curd: half cup
Cream: one-fourth cup
Cashew paste: 1 teaspoon
Turmeric powder: half a teaspoon
Coriander powder: 1 teaspoon
Red chili powder: 1 teaspoon
Garam masala: half teaspoon
Cumin seeds: half a teaspoon
Salt: to taste
Oil/ghee: 3-4 teaspoons
Kasuri methi: 1 teaspoon
Method:
First, heat some oil in a pan and fry the paneer pieces till they turn light golden. You can also use paneer without frying if you want.
Heat the remaining oil in the same pan. Add cumin seeds, then add onion and fry till golden. Now add ginger-garlic paste and mix well.
When the onion is well fried, add tomato puree, turmeric, coriander, and red chili powder and cook till the oil separates. After this, reduce the flame and add curd and cashew paste to it, and keep stirring continuously so that the curd does not curdle.
Now add some water to this masala and let it cook on a low flame for 5-7 minutes. Keep stirring the gravy in between.
When the gravy thickens, add fried paneer pieces, garam masala, kasuri methi, and salt to it. Mix everything well.
Finally, add cream to it and mix well. Cook for another minute and turn off the gas.
