Punjab News: Punjab is currently facing terrible floods. Millions of people have become homeless, farmers’ crops have been completely destroyed and industries have also been badly affected. In this difficult time, Punjabis hoped that Prime Minister Narendra Modi would understand their suffering and give a big relief package. But on the visit to Gurdaspur, the Prime Minister announced only ₹ 1,600 crore help and even more sad his “Hindi does not come?” Wali was a comment, which not only sprinkled salt on the wounds of Punjab but also insulted the Punjabi mother tongue.

Disaster Management Minister Hardeep Singh Mundiya said that when this relief amount is very low, PM Modi laughed and said – “Hindi does not come?” Declared 1600 crores. ” On this, Mundis gave a clear reply – “Hindi comes, but money is less.” This incident clearly shows that the central government jokingly raised the serious condition of Punjab. This is an insult not only to the people of Punjab but the entire Punjabi language.

AAP party state president and cabinet minister Aman Arora said in sharp words – “Modi ji has made a terrible joke with Punjab. Giving only 1600 crores at a loss of more than 20,000 crores is not an ointment, but to sprinkle salt.” He further said that the Center has stopped ₹ 60,000 crore funds of Punjab, which should be released immediately. The Prime Minister’s visit was limited to only photographs and political stunts.

Water Resources Minister Barinder Goyal termed this relief package as a “big joke”, while Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema said – “After 30 days Modi ji remembered Punjab and put ₹ 1,600 crore and put cumin in the camel’s mouth.” Even BJP’s leader Ravneet Bittu admitted that Modi’s comment has insulted Punjabi language. Even though he later tried to clean up, the people of Punjab considered it a direct attack on their honor.

The AAP government has again demanded from the Center that a big relief package should be given to compensate for more than Rs 20,000 crore loss from the floods and the stopped funds of Punjab should be issued immediately. The Aam Aadmi Party government said that as Punjab has always been ahead from the freedom struggle to filling the grain store of the country, in the same way Punjab is still standing with its people. Whether the central government has ignored, but Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s government will be the support of every flood victim family, will encourage farmers and protect the honor of Punjabis.
