Actress Shivangi Verma , who has impressed audiences with her performances in Choti Sarrdaarni, Tera Ishq Mera Fitoor, and most recently in Badass Ravi Kumar, opened up about her love for fashion , her take on designer wear, and how confidence plays a vital role in style.

“Yes, I do try to keep track of designers’ collections,” Shivangi says with a warm smile. “I love exploring new styles and trends. Sometimes it takes a little effort to get something you really like, but I enjoy it. It’s worth it because wearing the right outfit can completely transform your look and boost your confidence.”

When asked about designers being selective with whom they share their creations, Shivangi candidly responds, “I’ve heard stories, yes! Some designers are very particular about whom they give their pieces to. Personally, I try to maintain good relationships and respect their choices. Fashion is about more than just clothes—it’s about how you carry them, and that matters a lot too.”

Speaking about the often high price tags of designer clothes , Shivangi believes they are sometimes justified. “A designer piece takes so much effort, creativity, and craftsmanship. If it makes you feel confident and matches your personality, it’s worth investing in,” she explains. However, she also emphasizes balance. “I believe in smart styling. I love mixing designer pieces with simple, everyday outfits. It keeps my style unique and fresh.”

Recalling her most cherished outfit, she shares, “I have a few designer dresses close to my heart, but one gown stands out. I wore it for a big event, and it’s not just valuable because of its cost—it’s precious because of the memories attached to it. For me, fashion is also about moments, not just price tags.”

Shivangi also enjoys experimenting with designing her own clothes. “When I design, I focus on comfort and personality. Style should not only look good but also feel natural to wear. At the end of the day, true confidence comes from feeling comfortable and authentic in what you wear,” she concludes, perfectly summing up her fashion philosophy.
