On Saturday, Acharya Dhirendra Krishna Shastri of Bageshwar Dham visited the revered Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Varanasi. He emphasized the importance of social harmony in India, stating that to prevent the country from facing challenges similar to those of its neighboring nations, unity among its people is essential. Shastri announced plans for a foot march from November 7 to November 16, aimed at promoting social cohesion and advocating for India to be recognized as a Hindu nation.
Speaking to the media during his visit, Shastri expressed his joy at being in Kashi. He reiterated the need for social harmony and the declaration of India as a Hindu nation, stating, 'We must save the country. If we do not want India to resemble our neighboring countries, social harmony is crucial. It is vital to eliminate discord. Declaring India as a Hindu nation is necessary; it is already an undeclared Hindu nation. We need to instill this belief in the hearts and minds of the people. From here, we will proceed to Gaya.'
Earlier, on Friday, the Prime Minister of Mauritius, Dr. Navin Chandra Ramgoolam, performed rituals at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva.
