RJD leader and leader of opposition in Bihar, Tejashwi Yadav, is set to launch another political tour after the Voter Adhikar Yatra earlier this year. Called the Bihar Adhikar Yatra, it will begin from Jehanabad on September 16 and cover ten districts over five days before concluding in Vaishali on September 20.

The yatra was initially scheduled for early September but was delayed due to ongoing INDIA bloc discussions on seat-sharing arrangements. Party sources said the campaign has been designed to maintain the momentum generated by the Voter Adhikar Yatra and to put the RJD firmly at the centre of the opposition’s narrative in Bihar.

During the tour, Tejashwi will hold multiple public interactions, roadshows and meetings. On September 14–15, he is slated to address gatherings in Muzaffarpur and Madhubani, where the RJD has lined up cultural programmes, party events, and two large public meetings. Leaders from district units have been instructed to mobilise workers and ensure strong participation. “The Voter Adhikar Yatra helped us build the ground campaign. This yatra will take that momentum forward..,” an RJD functionary told ET.
