Star YouTuber MrBeast wanted to have a feel of how a punch from an elite boxer feels, and he got the taste in a brutal fashion when boxing legend Mike Tyson floored him with one of his trademark body punches Saturday night ahead of Canelo Alvarez vs Terence Crawford showdown at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
MrBeast, whose real name is James Stephen Donaldson, instantly felt the power as he dropped to his knees after being punched by the legend. In the video, which quickly went viral on social media, Tyson and MrBeast were standing alongside Saudi boxing supremo Turki Alalshikh, who fully enjoyed the one-of-a-kind moment.
"Mike Tyson is about to punch me, because thanks to Riyadh Season, Canelo v Crawford is about to happen, it literally starts within an hour, after this you need to go watch it,” said MrBeast in the video, who has 435 million subscribers, with Saudi boxing supremo Turki Alalshikh watching on alongside the former world heavyweight champion.
"And to raise awareness I'm going to take a punch from Mike Tyson, whenever you're ready.”
Tyson, the former heavyweight champion, made his return to the ring, in his first professional bout in 20 years, in an exhibition clash against Jake Paul, where ‘The Problem Child’ emerged victorious on points.
Tyson made his first public appearance since announcing his exhibition bout with Floyd Mayweather. The two legends, who share a combined age of 107, are set to face off in a much-anticipated clash scheduled for 2026.
