India's Strong Start and China's Comeback

The final match began with India taking an early lead through a penalty corner converted by veteran forward Navneet Kaur (1'). However, China quickly ramped up their efforts, attacking vigorously throughout the first half. They earned their first penalty corner in the fourth minute, which was blocked by Sunelita Toppo, followed by a save from goalkeeper Bichu Devi. In the 15th minute, China had another opportunity but failed to score due to India's defensive efforts. The second quarter saw China continue to press, earning another penalty corner in the 17th minute, which was again saved by Bichu Devi. In the 21st minute, Captain Ou Zixia successfully converted a penalty corner, leveling the score before halftime.

As the third quarter commenced, India maintained pressure on China, limiting their chances. However, it was China that took the lead in the 40th minute after a swift counterattack, with Li Hong scoring from a back-handed shot. China extended their lead with two additional goals in the fourth quarter, scored by Zou Meirong (51') and Zhong Jiaqi (53'), sealing their victory.
