A business owner was left horrified when a woman tried to return a dress that had "t** tape" stuck in it where she'd worn it and also covered in stains. "One thing I have learned from owning my own clothingbrand is that there are some seriously cheeky people in this world," Abbie who posts on TikTokas @abbiejw_xstarted her video by sharing, saying she didn't know how people "have the front" to do what they do.

She explained she owns the clothing brand The Honey Hut, and it had been brought to her attention that someone had made a return which wasn't adding up.

"I just can't get my head round it," Abbie shared, before showing the dress the cheeky customer had returned, claiming it was unworn.

She said: "The main things when returning are that we ask for no signs of wear, tags to still be attached, and basically for the item to still look like it did when it was sent out."

This is why she was "gobsmacked" when she received this return.

Abbie explained it was their Golden Hour dress, which is a stunning backless number which would be perfect for holidays.

Retailing for £57.99, the mini dress comes in a gorgeous neutral print, and is so figure flattering for those prepared to be a little bold with their fashion choices.

First off, she said it smelt of "smoke and sweat" and didn't have a "very pleasant" scent and there was dirty tape all over the dress, which had been used to keep the wearer's boobs in position as the dress is completely backless.

Abbie said the dress was "dirty inside," and it may have been down to "sweat marks".

It also had no tags on it and had "clearly been worn," but despite this, the chancer had written "please refund" at the top of the paperwork, claiming it had the tags on and hadn't been worn.

Abbie was baffled as she read the paperwork further, with the woman claiming she'd returned it "because it was too big".

"That dress is getting sent straight back out," Abbie seethed, saying she was "taking the p***" out of a "small, family-run business".

In the comments, someone seethed: "People are vile, behaving like that, I mean, the world we live in now is so self-entitled. Absolutely not okay, I hope you sent it back.

"Also, start naming and shaming so other small business owners don't deal with them. Also, I think shops on TikTok shop should be able to give us a review as a buyer, and that way, people would know who they are dealing with."

Another woman penned: "I own a lash brand and can 100% relate. Nothing shocks me anymore, I've heard it all". Abbie said the people who do things like this are "pure cheeky".
