Earlier, as soon as the ticket window opened, brokers and many people used to book tickets with the help of software, which caused problems to those passengers who actually needed tickets. The purpose behind this facility is to give priority to real passengers. But now only real passengers will be able to book railway tickets through verification. Now the railways have implemented this decision on reservation tickets as well so that passengers do not face any inconvenience in booking tickets.

Similarly, as before, authorized agents of the railways will not be able to book tickets for 10 minutes after the window opens. Now for the first 15 minutes, users with Aadhaar verification and even after that for 10 minutes, common passengers will be given more facilities than the agents. With this decision of the railways, it is being speculated that now verified passengers will not face any problem in booking tickets due to agents and they will be able to easily book seats for themselves.
