A deadly accident near Dhaula Kuan in Delhi on 14 September 2025 has raised concerns about emergency medical aid. A BMW car collided with a motorcycle on Ring Road, killing Finance Ministry official Navjot Singh and his wife was seriously injured. The couple’s son Nawanur Singh alleges that if his father was taken to a close superspecreity hospital like AIIMS instead of NewLife Hospital in GTB Nagar, 20 km, he could have saved his life.
The accident occurred near the metro pillar number 67 at around 1:30 pm. According to eyewitnesses, a woman named Gaganpreet was running BMW with her husband Parikshit Kakkar. Due to the collision, the motorcycle collided with a bus, overturning the BMW. The couple, a resident of Gurugram and a horse -leather business, allegedly rushed the victims to Newlife Hospital by a delivery van.
