Social media star and popular child co-host of several television programs, Umar Shah was laid to rest in his ancestral graveyard. Umar Shah had appeared as a co-host on ARY’s Ramadan and game shows, among other programs and was also seen on different TV channels.

He regularly participated in shows alongside his elder brother, child star Ahmed Ali Shah and the two often created and shared content together on social media.

On September 15, Ahmed Shah revealed through an Instagram story that his younger brother had passed away. Following this announcement, TV personalities including Waseem Badami and Fahad Mustafa also confirmed the tragic news.

In a video message, Waseem Badami explained that doctors informed the family that Umar Shah had vomited and the vomit entered his lungs disrupting his oxygen supply. According to him, this led to a cardiovascular arrest which caused Umar Shah’s death.

The news of his passing brought grief to both showbiz personalities and social media stars who expressed deep sorrow. Umar Shah was later laid to rest in his ancestral city of Dera Ismail Khan.

A large number of citizens attended his funeral prayer. Family sources revealed that Umar Shah had suffered from food poisoning which worsened his condition and complications arose after vomiting eventually leading to his death.
