Monsoon activities are still going on in many parts of the country, while its departure from some states has already begun. According to the Meteorological Department, many states may receive heavy rains in the coming days, while heat and humidity will continue to trouble people in some cities.

Humidity prevails in Delhi-NCR
Today the weather is expected to be clear in Delhi-NCR. There will be light clouds in the sky, but the chances of rain are less. The maximum temperature can reach 34 to 36 degrees Celsius. In such a situation, the people of the capital will not get any relief from the heat and humidity for the time being.
Rain alert in UP-Bihar
- Uttar Pradesh: There will be a big change in the weather of the state today. According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), many parts of western and eastern UP may receive rain and thundershowers. There is also a danger of lightning along with heavy rain in some areas of eastern UP.
- Bihar: A warning has been issued that there will be continuous rain in Bihar for the next five days. During this period, there is a possibility of heavy rain with thunder and lightning.
Monsoon situation in other states
- Northeast India: All the seven states of the Northeast like Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura are likely to receive continuous rainfall till September 21.
- Central India: Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh and Jharkhand are expected to receive heavy rainfall between September 15 and 19.
- Western India: Heavy to very heavy rain warnings have been issued for Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra and Marathwada regions for September 16.
- Monsoon farewell: The good news is that the southwest monsoon is likely to start withdrawing from parts of Rajasthan, Punjab and Gujarat in the next two days.
