Esha Deol and businessman Bharat Takhtani went their separate ways in 2024 after 11 years of marriage. Despite their separation the two have chosen to remain closely involved in raising their daughters 8-year-old Radhya and 6-year-old Miraya. Speaking to ETimes recently Esha shared how life has changed post-divorce and how her focus remains firmly on her children. “Bharat and I are co-parenting our daughters. It’s something you choose because you love your kids deeply” she explained highlighting that their bond as parents is stronger than their differences. Is Esha ready for love again? When asked about her personal life the actress openly admitted she is currently single. But she was quick to add that she is not closed off to the idea of a new relationship. Calling love “the most beautiful feeling and phase of a person’s life” she said “I will always believe in falling in love. One should keep falling in love.” However she also pointed out that while love and companionship add joy to life they do not define an individual entirely. “Love and togetherness are wonderful but they are not everything” Esha reflected. What about her daughters? Esha described her daughters as “filmy at heart” but insisted they are too young to even think about stepping into Bollywood. At present their attention is on studies though music and dance play a big role in their day-to-day fun. She revealed that her daughters adore dancing to her famous tracks. “They love my songs ‘Dhoom Machale’ and ‘Dilbara.’ My elder daughter especially enjoys my mother’s song ‘Bhoot Raja Bahar Aaja’” Esha shared. Interestingly it was Hema Malini herself who introduced the girls to her evergreen hits sparking their love for music and dance. Looking ahead with positivity For Esha the focus is clear: co-parenting with grace celebrating her daughters’ childhood and keeping an open heart toward the future.
