Railways To Run 2 Weekly Special Trains Via Odisha For Festive Season

Bhubaneswar: To provide a smooth travel experience and manage the increased passenger rush during the festive season, Railways will run Weekly Special Trains connecting stations in Odisha.
Railways said the two pairs of special trains will run as per the schedule below:

1. SAMBALPUR – ERODE – SAMBALPUR SPECIAL (08311/08312)

Train No. 08311 Sambalpur–Erode Weekly Special Express will depart Sambalpur at 11.35 am every Wednesday up to November 26, 2025.

Train No. 08312 Erode–Sambalpur Weekly Special will depart Erode at 2.45 pm every Friday up to November 28, 2025.

Halts in East Coast Railway (ECoR): Bargarh Road, Balangir, Titlagarh, Kesinga, Muniguda, Rayagada, Parvathipuram, Bobbili, Vizianagaram Jn, Kottavalasa, Duvvada.

Coach Composition: 2nd AC – 1, 3rd AC – 3, Sleeper – 9, General – 4, Second class luggage cum Divyangjan – 2, Kitchen/Pantry Car – 1.

2. NEW TINSUKIA – SMVT BENGALURU – NEW TINSUKIA SPECIAL (05952/05951)

Train No. 05952 New Tinsukia–SMVT Bengaluru Weekly Special will depart New Tinsukia at 6.45 pm every Thursday up to October 30, 2025.

Train No. 05951 SMVT Bengaluru–New Tinsukia Weekly Special will depart SMVT Bengaluru at 11.50 pm every Sunday up to November 11, 2025.

Halts in ECoR: Bhadrak, Jajpur Road, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road, Balugaon, Brahmapur, Palasa, Srikakulam Road, Chipurupalle, Vizianagaram, Kottavalasa, Duvvada.

Coach Composition: 3rd AC – 2, Sleeper – 16, Second class with break van and luggage – 2.

These special train services are arranged to meet festive season demands and passenger convenience, covering important stations across the ECoR.
