Rules of setting up in Navratri
Navratri 2024 Kalash Sthapana Puja Niyam: The festival of Navratri is not just devotion but also a celebration of energy. The direction of the Kalash installation and idol is said to be the most important in the scriptures. There is an extension of the glory of worship in texts like Devi Purana and Skanda Purana. Although not the same direction was described as a strict rule in these texts, the mantras of tradition, Vastu and Devi-Division clearly indicate that East and North-East is considered the best direction.
Navratri is not only the festival of devotion but also the time of energy balance. It is clearly stated in the scriptures that if the direction of the Ghat installation and the goddess idol is not correct, then the full fruits of spiritual practice are not found. That is, Navratri should be started not only with worship, but with classical guidelines, so that the Goddess of Goddess will remain on the family in renewable form.
In Skanda Purana, the glory of Goddess worship and methods of Ghatasthapana are explained in detail. In this, the purification of worship, calling mantra and rules is an extension, but no one direction was told indispensable. Nevertheless, according to the Pandits and Vastu-scriptures, the northeast angle i.e. the north-east direction has been called the door of the gods. This is the reason that the tradition of keeping the Kalash at this place is going on.
In the Devi Purana, it is mentioned in the context of the worship of Matrika deities (Saptaminis) that idols should be kept facing north. This means that in the worship of Goddess, the north direction has been considered special fruitful. Keeping this tradition in mind, the Goddess statue is often kept in the east or north direction in the worship of Navratri.
Kalash Establishment: Is considered the most auspicious in the northeast (northeast).
Murthy/picture: East or north direction should be installed.
The direction of the devotee: The worshiper often sits facing the east, which proves spiritual practice.
East direction is considered a symbol of knowledge and light, while the north direction is described as stability and prosperity direction. Ishaan angle is the gateway to the gods, where the flow of positive energy is the highest. For this reason, there is a tradition to install Kalash and idol in these directions. The importance of Ghat establishment in Navratri is not only limited to tradition but is associated with scriptures and Puranas. Skanda Purana describes the method of worship and glory of Ghat, while the Goddess Purana gives special importance to the north direction. On the basis of these signs, it is considered to be the best to install the urn north-east and the idol in the east or north direction. This increases the fruit of worship of Navratri many times and the grace of Maa Durga is easily attained.
