It’s been three years since founding Try Guys member Ned Fulmer left the group following an affair with an employee. Ned quickly dropped out of the public spotlight, quit posting on Instagram, and was removed from Try Guys videos. Now, Ned Fulmer has returned and he’s prepared to talk about the Try Guys cheating scandal.
“I feel ready to share my story and to move on into a new chapter,” Ned cited to People in his first interview since the 2022 cheating scandal, also adding, “For a long time, I wanted nothing to do with social media or the internet. I didn’t think it was particularly beneficial to my mental health.”
“I understand that’s why it was such a big scandal because it’s ironic and it feels like a rug pull to people,” he mentioned. “That must have been really painful and devastating to viewers.”
Thanks to intensive couples counseling, Ned and Ariel are still together, and their marriage is “stronger than it was before” now.
As for addressing the question in regard to the inappropriate workplace relationship that may have impacted a young employee’s career, fans will have to wait for the debut episode of Rock Bottom, which premieres Wednesday, Sept. 17.
