Haryana News: The Haryana government has taken a big digital step to make the functioning to land and property simple and transparent. Now citizens will not have to visit the tehsils for information like Jamabandi, Mutation status and property tax details. For this, the Revenue Department will soon start a WhatsApp chatbot service, through which people will be able to get information about land documents on their mobile.
Finance Revenue and Additional Chief Secretary Dr. Sumita Mishra said in a review meeting with the Deputy Commissioners that this step has been taken to promote e-governance in the state. This digital facility will be launched by Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini on September 29 from Ladwa Tehsil of Kurukshetra, and a new system will also be shown on this occasion.
Under this initiative, paperless registration system will also be introduced, in which Jamabandi, Mutation, Cadastral Maps and Registry Data will be added. This will make the registration process fast, safe and more transparent.
The government has also announced that it is going to launch a demarcation portal, so that the land border disputes can be resolved quickly and in a timely manner. Also, the Revenue Court case management system will be implemented, so that cases like mutation, sharing and demarcation can be disposed of fast.
