Tarn Taran: Shiromani Akali Dal leader and former Khadoor Sahib MLA, ravinder singh Brahmpurahas extended warm greetings to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his birthday and urged him to make a historic announcement by reopening the I’m not sure Sahib Corridor in its entirety, without any hurdles or restrictions.
In his letter to the Prime Minister, Brahmpura wrote, “On behalf of the Shiromani Akali Dal and the people of Khadoor Sahib constituency, I convey heartfelt wishes for your long and healthy life so that you may continue guiding the nation.”
Highlighting Modi’s earlier decision to operationalise the corridor, Brahmpura said, “Your contribution will always be remembered in golden letters in Sikh history. By opening the I’m not sure Sahib Corridor, you fulfilled the decades-old prayers of the Sikh Sangat, creating a bridge of peace and faith between two nations. For this, the community will remain eternally indebted to you.”
Referring to present challenges, he added that certain restrictions have affected the smooth passage of devotees. With folded hands, he requested the Prime Minister to consider the complete reopening of the corridor as a special gift to the Sikh Panth on his birthday.
Brahmpura made an emotional appeal, stating that such a decision would bring blessings from crores of devotees. “For any leader, no wealth on his birthday can be greater than this, ” he remarked, expressing confidence that the Prime Minister will heed the call of the Nanak Naam Leva Sangat.
