The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has announced recruitment for 1,180 Assistant Teacher positions in primary schools. Eligible candidates can apply online at dsssb.delhi.gov.in.

There's great news for young people dreaming of becoming government teachers in Delhi. The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has released a notification for recruitment to 1,180 Assistant Teacher positions in primary schools in the capital. The application process for this recruitment will be completely online, and interested candidates can apply by visiting the DSSSB's official website, dsssb.delhi.gov.in.

This recruitment process includes a total of 1,180 positions. Of these, 1,055 are for the Directorate of Education and 125 for the New Delhi Municipal Corporation (NDMC).

To apply for this position, candidates must have passed the 12th standard with at least 50% marks from a recognized board. They must also possess a D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education) degree. Passing the CTET exam is also mandatory. Those without a valid CTET certificate will not be eligible to apply.

The maximum age limit for this recruitment is 30 years. However, reserved categories such as SC, ST, OBC, women, and disabled candidates will be exempted from the upper age limit as per government regulations.

General category candidates will have to pay an application fee of ₹100, while women, SC, ST, and disabled candidates will not have to pay any fee. Selection will be based solely on merit. A final list of selected candidates will be released after the written examination and document verification.

Selected candidates will be offered an attractive salary. The DSSSB has set a pay scale for the Assistant Teacher position ranging from ₹35,400 to ₹1,12,400 per month. This salary will be paid in accordance with the 7th Pay Commission.
