Samsung’s new interface: Samsung has officially launched its new interface One UI 8,. The company has first released it for its latest flagship smartphones Samsung Galaxy S25 series. Earlier, Samsung had released several beta versions of this update, but now its stable (stable) version has started getting on select models.
One UI 8 update has been made available only on only a few premium devices like Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7, Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7, Galaxy Z Flip 7 Fe and Galaxy S25 Fe. Apart from this, it has also started reaching other phones of the Galaxy S25 series. Initially this update has been rolled out to South Korea and will soon be released in other international markets including India. The company says that users who are using Samsung’s flagship or recently launched phones will get this update first.
Samsung has also clarified that One UI 8 update will reach the end of this year on devices like Samsung Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold 6, Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy S24 Fe. However, the company is now planning to provide software updates to many of its smartphones for 6-7 years. Nevertheless, this new update will reach the old and mid-range devices slowly.
The list of major devices availing this update includes Galaxy S25, Galaxy S24, Galaxy S23, Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S21 Fe Series smartphones. Apart from this, foldable phones like Galaxy Z Fold 6, Z Flip 6, Z Fold 5, Z Flip 5, Z Fold 4, Z Flip 4 are also included in it. In the tablet category, Galaxy Tab S10, S9, S8 series and their Fe and Lite models will also get this update. In mid-range and budget lineups, models like Galaxy A73, A56, A55, A54, A36, A35, A34, A26, A25, A17, A16, A15, A07, A06, A33 and A53 5G are also present in the list.
When this update is available on your device, you can easily install it. For this, first go to the phone’s settings and click on the software update option. Here, if one UI 8 is available, it can be downloaded and installed by tapping on the “check for update”. After this, the phone will be restarted and all the new features of One UI 8 will be active on your device.
