Pakistan defeated the UAE by 41 runs, advancing to the Super Four Stages. Chasing 147 runs to win, the UAE were bowled out for 105 in 17.4 overs.

Shahaeen Afridi, Haris Rauf and Abrar Ahmed took two wickets each, while Saim Ayub and Salman Agha dismissed one batter each. Pakistan will now face India on September 21 in the next round.

Earlier, Fakhar Zaman’s fifty and a cameo by Shaheen took the score to 142/9.

Junaid Siddique (4 wickets) and Simranjeet Singh (3 wickets) were the pick of the bowlers for the UAE.
