New Delhi: American technology giant Microsoft has introduced a new rule for its employees. As per a report by the Times of India Microsoft stated that working face-to-face leads to better ideas and helps teams deliver stronger results together especially in emerging fields like AI (Artificial Intelligence). Microsofts Three-phase Plan: By September 2025 employees in the Seattle area will be required to follow this rule. After that it will be enforced in other offices across the United States. Finally by February 2026 the rule will be implemented in all international offices worldwide. The company has said that the new rules will not apply to certain roles such as account management consulting and field marketing since employees in these positions are required to spend most of their time working with clients outside.
