Team India are all set to take on arch-rivals Pakistan for the second time in a week as the two Asian powerhouses will face off in the second Super 4 match set to take place at the Dubai International Stadium on Sunday (September 11). Suryakumar Yadav’s Team India had already booked their place in the Super 4 with back-to-back wins over United Arab Emirates and Pakistan in their first two game and will round off their league stage fixtures with a clash against Oman in Abu Dhabi on Friday. Pakistan on the other hand had to take the long and arduous route to the Super 4. They eked out a 41-run win over hosts UAE after a long-drawn ‘boycott’ drama which delayed the clash by one hour on Wednesday. Pakistan cricket team reportedly only agreed to play after match-referee Andy Pycroft apologized to the Pakistan team over confusion in the ‘handshake row’. The ICC on their part conveyed to PCB that a thorough investigation had been carried out in the matter and they found no reason to remove Pycroft from the tournament.
