Consequently, only users with Aadhaar-linked Aadhaar can book within the first 15 minutes of booking opening at 8 am. This new rule is effective from October 1st.

There are many people whose Aadhaar is not linked. This could be due to various reasons, including a mobile number not being updated in Aadhaar or an error in the Aadhaar. Such people need not worry. Indian Railways has provided these people with an option to make reservations without Aadhaar linking. 80% of people do not use this service.

How to Make Reservations Without Aadhaar Linking
Indian Railways has exempted the PRS (Passenger Reservation System) from this rule. This means you can go to any nearby railway station or PRS counter and make a reservation without Aadhaar. Currently, only 20% of people are making reservations through PRS. Here, you only need to fill out a slip and submit it to the reservation counter to make the reservation.
