Muzammil Ibrahim recently spoke candidly about the struggles he faced during the making of his debut film with director Pooja Bhatt. Contrary to the glamorous image associated with Bollywood he described his early days on set as “extremely painful” and “traumatic.” Muzammil revealed that the shooting period was filled with difficult moments that affected him deeply making it a challenging start to his acting career.

In a recent interview Muzammil Ibrahim shared his experience working on the film Dhokha describing it as deeply traumatic and something that affected him for years. He said I had never encountered such a traumatic atmosphere before. I wasn’t accustomed to that kind of abuse. It was truly a very painful experience. Working under those conditions was extremely tough. Yet I had no option but to endure it since I was the only one supporting my family. Because of the unstable situation in Kashmir I had brought my family to Mumbai.
He further mentioned that the only person who caused problems on set was the director Pooja Bhatt. He said It was only the director who troubled me. The rest of the team was very kind. Bhatt sahab even offered me three more films after Dhokha but due to my difficult experience on set I chose not to take any of them.
