Rainfall expected in these states for the next five days, IMD issues alert

 According to the Meteorological Department (IMD), thunderstorms and strong winds with speeds reaching 30-40 kmph are likely across eastern India over the next five to six days. Very heavy rainfall is possible at isolated places in Uttarakhand on September 19th.

According to the International Monetary Fund (IMD), Delhi may receive light to very light rain on Friday. After this, no rain is expected from September 20 to 29, and the weather is expected to remain normal.

Chances of rain in Bihar

According to the Meteorological Department, a strong low-pressure area in the Bay of Bengal has increased humidity in Bihar and reactivated the monsoon. This effect will last until September 20th, bringing intermittent rain with the possibility of heavy rainfall in some districts.

Chances of rain in Jharkhand

According to the Meteorological Department, rain is expected in Jharkhand from September 19th to 22nd. The Ranchi Meteorological Center has issued a five-day yellow alert for this purpose. During this period, heavy rain is expected in some areas, while light to moderate rain with thunderstorms and lightning is expected in others.

Apart from Tamil Nadu, strong winds will blow in these states.

According to the IMD, many areas of Tamil Nadu may experience light to moderate rain or thunderstorms on September 19. Meanwhile, strong winds with speeds of 30-40 kmph are expected in coastal Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, and Rayalaseema for the next five days.

Apart from Arunachal Pradesh, there is a possibility of rain in these states

Heavy rainfall is expected in Arunachal Pradesh between September 19 and 20, in Assam and Meghalaya from September 19 to 24, and in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura from September 19 to 24. In addition, isolated very heavy rainfall is possible over Assam and Meghalaya on September 22.
