Paytm has launched another exciting feature for its users. In partnership with Suryoday Small Finance Bank, Paytm has launched 'Paytm Postpaid' as a credit line on UPI. This is being supported by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI).

This new feature will provide customers with the unique "Spend Now, Pay Next Month" feature. This will be extremely beneficial for those who need money immediately but want to make payments at the end of the month.

What is Paytm Postpaid, and how does it work?

Paytm Postpaid is a type of short-term loan that you can use as per your needs. It allows you to make payments through UPI at various merchant touchpoints. Whether you pay at a store by scanning a QR code, shop online, or pay your bills, recharge, or book tickets on the Paytm app, you can now do all of these things using this credit line.

Features
30 Day Credit: This service provides you with credit for up to 30 days. This means you spend today and pay next month.

Instant Spending: You can instantly meet your needs even if you don't have the money.

Launched for Select Users: This service is currently available to select users based on their spending behavior. It will be rolled out to more users soon.

How to Join Paytm Postpaid: Learn in Simple Steps

Open the Paytm App
First, open the Paytm app on your mobile phone and tap the 'Paytm Postpaid' icon on the home page.

Create a Credit Line
Here you'll need to create a credit line on your UPI account by entering some basic details, verifying your KYC, and setting the necessary mandates.

Link to UPI
To start using the credit line, link your new credit account to UPI.

Select a Bank and Authenticate
Select Suryoday Small Finance Bank and authenticate yourself using your Aadhaar card.

Set a UPI PIN
Set a new UPI PIN, and you can start making payments using your linked credit facility on UPI.
