In a dramatic turn of events, two suspects involved in the firing outside Bollywood actress Disha Patani’s residence have been killed in a police encounter in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh.

According to Indian media reports, the shooting incident occurred on the morning of September 12 around 4:30 AM outside Disha Patani’s home in Civil Lines, Bareilly. Multiple rounds were fired, creating panic in the neighborhood. Fortunately, no injuries or casualties were reported, and the actress and her family, who were present at the time, remained unharmed.

Shortly after the attack, the responsibility was claimed by the Goldy Brar ganga notorious criminal group with ties to Canada. Goldy Brar is already wanted in several high-profile cases across India, including the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala.

On September 17, Uttar Pradesh police tracked down the two accused gunmen to Ghaziabad. The encounter occurred during an operation when the suspects reportedly opened fire on law enforcement officers, leading to a retaliatory shootout. Both gunmen were fatally shot during the exchange.

The deceased were identified as Ravinder from Rohtak and Arun from Sonepatboth reportedly affiliated with the Goldy Brar gang — a part of a larger international criminal network. Police recovered a significant cache of weaponsincluding a Glock pistol, a Zigana pistol, and multiple rounds of live ammunition from the suspects.

This swift action by law enforcement has been praised by officials and the public alike. However, investigations are still ongoing to trace the wider network behind the attack and assess if the shooting was intended as a threat or a targeted act of intimidation.

The incident has raised concerns about the safety of public figures and the reach of organized crime in India.
