New Delhi: State Bank of India (SBI) Maintenance: Some of India’s largest banks including State Bank of India (SBI) HDFC and Kotak Mahindra Bank have announced that essential maintenance work will be conducted on Sunday September 21 2025 due to which some banking services will be temporarily disrupted. Banks have requested customers to plan their transactions accordingly. Services will be disrupted at this time SBI has announced that maintenance work will be underway on September 21 2025 from 12:15 am to 1:00 am. Due to this the banks UPI services will be temporarily down. You may experience problems if you attempt to make a transaction through UPI during this time. SBI has advised customers to use UPI Lite for uninterrupted transactions. This service will continue to function as usual. To enjoy uninterrupted service customers can use the UPI Lite service. UPI Lite payment limits There are certain limits on transactions through UPI LITE. You can make a maximum transaction of Rs 1000 at a time. Furthermore you can make a total transaction of up to Rs 10000 in a day. Regarding the balance limit your UPI LITE account can have a maximum balance of Rs 5000 at any given time. HDFC transactions will be affected at this time HDFC Bank has announced on its website that maintenance work will be underway on September 21 2025 from 1:00 AM to 5:30 AM during which several services will be temporarily unavailable. The bank has also detailed the maintenance schedule and the services that will be suspended during this time. Mutual fund transactions will not be possible on HDFCs net banking and mobile banking apps from 1:00 AM to 5:00 AM on September 21 2025. HDFC Bank RTGS services will not be available on the banks net banking and mobile app from 1:00 AM to 5:30 AM. TPT registration IPIN regeneration TPT limit changes and debit card services will also be suspended from 1:00 AM to 5:00 AM. Kotak Mahindra Bank timing Kotak Mahindra Bank posted on Exchange that its system will be undergoing maintenance work from 1:30 AM to 2:30 AM on Sunday September 21 2025 due to which some services will not be available. SBI Kotak Mahindra Bank and HDFC Bank have advised their customers to plan their transactions and use alternative methods to avoid any inconvenience.
