The untimely demise of renowned Assamese singer Zubeen Garg has left fans in shock. The 52-year-old singer actor and philanthropist was in Singapore as the Cultural Brand Ambassador for the North East India festival scheduled for September 20 and 21. He was all set to captivate audience with some of his most celebrated songs during the festivals opening ceremony. However a tragedy stuck during a recreational scuba diving session as Zubeen experienced severe breathing issues. Despite being rushed to hospital he was pronounced dead at 2:30 pm on Friday.
