Obnews Exclusive: Niranjan Hiranandani, Hiranandani Group and Chairman of Neradco, says that housing and infrastructure sector is one that can benefit common people in the country equally. Only through these sectors, money can come in the hands of the poor and rural areas of the country and the poor can be worked out. This is a sector in bringing self -reliant India, unemployed free India and economic prosperity that should be focused. Here even at the state level, this sector can achieve success by promoting at the country level.
In a special conversation with ‘Obnews’, Hiranandani said that it is at the forefront of the world in two economic areas. It is developing economic development of the country at the rate of 7.8 percent. Housing sector contributes up to 10 per cent. The next 12 to 15 percent is expected to reach. The benefit of bringing the activity of this sector will reach the poor directly.
He said that the country has been ruddy in unemployment. It has the ability to reduce unemployment rate in both these sectors. And the result will be reaching the hands of the people. The help of these sectors and investors will help generate employment. This is quite important to achieve the target of 2030 or 2047. China is leading an economic growth at a rate of about 10 per cent. India has still reached this rate. This is the reason that along with development, China also got a model of equally success.
Hiranandani said that today 20 lakh people are needed in these two sectors. And in the next five years it can increase by 8, 9 lakhs. LIC alone is recruiting 25,000 employees. Apart from this, 77 private sector housing projects and corporate companies are generating employment. These sectors have different types of jobs. Whatever work people will get today, it is based on modern technology.
Hiranandani, who is doing many projects in the country and abroad, said that Nagpur is becoming an attractive destination. He is exploring possibilities in Nagpur. There is also interest in coming to Nagpur.
