Jaipur, 21 September (Read News). The Special Operation Group (SOG) has taken a big action and exposed the gang who cheated crores of rupees. The police have arrested three accused, including the gang’s chief leader. This gang used to cheat thousands of people through fake investment schemes and companies.
Fake companies and website cheated investors
SOG IG Sharat Kaviraj told that among the arrested accused Prince Saini alias Banshilal (24), Mamta Bhati (24) and Dinesh Bagdi (24) Are included. The accused opened many companies and lured attractive returns on investment. For this, he created a fake website and campaigned fiercely on social media. In order to assure people, the main kingpin used to pay huge amount in social and religious programs as donations.
The process of cheating has been going on since 2017
Investigation revealed that after failing in the 12th in the year 2017, Banshilal started the ‘Tronect World Company’ and cheated Rs 6.48 lakh from 54 people. In 2022, he recovered about 60 lakh rupees from 2,200 students on the pretense of online coaching under the name ‘Gro Peacock Education Private Limited’.
After this, ‘Harvest AI Technology Private Limited’ was lured to give a luxury car. In this scheme, crores of rupees were taken from more than 250 people.
People cheated by false claims and greed
The gang claimed to be 2 lakh satisfied customers, calling themselves an international company. People were also misled by using foreign names and photos. The accused took out the scheme that Rs 2,380 will get a return of Rs 8,000 in 11 months and a bike-scooty will be given daily from lucky draw.
2–3 crore rupees were recovered from more than 40 people, calling the company’s tokens as listed in the market. But investors were not given returns and the amount was spent on luxury and publicity.
