Candidates aspiring for a career in the government banking sector now have an additional chance to apply. The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has extended the last date for online applications for Office Assistant (Multipurpose) and Officer (Scale I, II & III) posts in Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) across India.
Earlier, the application deadline was 21 September 2025. It has now been extended to 28 September 2025. Candidates who haven’t applied yet should submit their applications as soon as possible through the official IBPS website: ibps.in.
A total of 13,294 vacancies have been announced:
Office Assistant (Clerk): 8,022 posts
Officer Scale-I (PO): 3,928 posts
Officer Scale-II (General Banking Officer): 1,142 posts
Officer Scale-II (Specialist): 220 posts, including:
87 IT Officers
69 Chartered Accountants
48 Law Officers
16 Treasury Managers

Complete the application form with all required details.
Pay the application fee and submit the form.
Take a printout of the submitted application for future reference.
