Prem Chopra one of Bollywoods most famous villains is celebrating his 89th birthday today. The actor has appeared in over 400 films in his film career. His many characters and dialogues continue to resonate with audiences of all ages. Early Career Struggles Prem Chopra began his film career in 1961. He has played many outstanding roles in Hindi cinema which audiences still admire. Before establishing himself in Bollywood this veteran actor faced many challenging times but he pursued his dreams without any obstacles. The Rise of a Villain Prem Chopra is considered one of Bollywoods most feared villains whom audiences began to consider a true villain. At that time people were so in awe of Prem Chopra that they could tell by his appearance and mannerisms that he was about to play a villain. However he wanted to be a hero not a villain. Family and Education Prem Chopra is the third of six siblings. He graduated from Punjab University. During this time he participated in plays. Although his father wanted him to become a doctor he moved to Mumbai after graduation and entered Bollywood. Later his passion turned into a responsibility. Personal Life Uma and Prem Chopra have three daughters: Rakita Punita and Prerna. Their eldest daughter Rakita is married to screenwriter Rahul Nanda. Their middle daughter Punita is married to singer and TV actor Vikas Bhalla. Their younger daughter Prerna is married to Sharman Joshi a Bollywood actor who starred in the 350-crore film 3 Idiots alongside Aamir Khan.
