New Delhi: Former Pakistan cricketer Shahid Afridi has criticized the Pakistan cricket Board (PCB) for naming Salman Agha as the T20I captain. Since taking charge Aghas leadership has drawn heavy criticism Pakistan from former players and cricket analysts. Agha was appointed T20I captaincy during Pakistans 2024 tour of Zimbabwe and is now leading the team in Asia Cup 2025 where his leadership skills have come under intense scrutiny. Under Aghas captaincy Pakistan lost both of their group stage and Super 4 clash against India in the tournament. They lost by seven wickets in the group stage and suffered another defeat in the Super Four clash by six wickets leaving fans and experts disappointed and frustrated.
