Shardiya Navratri 2025: In the Sanatan tradition, the time of Navratri is considered very holy. There are two Gupta Navratri, Chaitra Navratri and Sharadiya Navratri four times in a year. Among them, the importance of Sharadiya Navratri is the highest. Starting from Pratipada of Shukla Paksha of Ashwin month, these nine days are completely dedicated to the worship of Maa Durga.
It is believed that in this period, fasting, worship and meditation with reverence and devotion, worship all the wishes of the devotees. From astrological point of view, this time is considered very auspicious. The special thing is that if some special plants are planted in the house in Navratri, then the Goddess is happy and the family receives wealth, happiness and prosperity and the rain of good luck.
Tulsi plant: Tulsi has a very revered place in Hinduism. It is believed that mother Lakshmi resides in it. During the Navratri, by applying Tulsi in the house, the grace of both mother Lakshmi and mother Durga remains. This increases the family and the environment of the house is filled with positivity.

Shankhapushpi plant: According to the scriptures, Shankhapushpi’s plant is a symbol of peace and prosperity. In Navratri, planting it at home increases love and harmony in family relations. Mental stress is reduced and special grace of mother Durga is received.

Banana plant: Banana plant is considered to be the form of Lord Vishnu. If it is installed in Navratri near the courtyard or courtyard of the house, then the blessings of Shrihari Vishnu are received. By doing this, poverty is removed and there is never a shortage of money in the family.

Harsingar plant: Harsingar is famous for its beautiful flowers and divine aroma. Religious belief is that by planting this plant during Navratri, positive energy is inhabited in the house and the economic condition is strengthened. It is also considered a favorite plant of Maa Lakshmi, so its planting gives the blessings of Goddess.
