The design of the new Destini 110 is familiar to its 125cc sibling which received a significant makeover earlier this year. Called the Neo Retro design, the Destini 110 gets the same face with a front apron housing the LED turn indicators with chrome surrounds. The main headlamp cluster is housed on the handlebar cowl.
The taillamp gets the signature Hshaped LED element that has become a common occurrence across the Hero lineup. One of the main highlights is a 785mm long seat which is the longest in this segment that comes with an integrated back rest. The Destini is offered in a total of five colour schemes. The VX variant is available in Eternal White, Matt Steel Grey and Nexus Blue whereas the Cast Disc ZX variant comes in either Aqua Grey, Nexus Blue, or Groovy Red.
Powering the Destini 110 is a familiar 110.9 cc engine seen in Xoom 110 and Pleasure. This motor produces 8 bhp at 7,250rpm and a peak torque of 8.87 Nm. Power is transmitted to the rear wheel via a CVT gearbox. Hero claims a mileage of 56.2 kmpl for this engine. Like every other Hero twowheeler, the Destini 110 also comes with the i3S technology which is Hero’s patented auto startstop technology.
The underbone chassis of the scooter is suspended on telescopic front forks and twin rear shock absorbers. The scooter rides on 90/90 – 12 front and 100/80 – 12 rear tyres. Braking duties are carried out by a 703mm front disc and a 697mm rear drum unit. The scooter tips the weighing scale at 114 kg and offers a ground clearance of 162 mm.
