Arsenal winger Noni Madueke picked up a knee injury in the Gunners’ Premier League 2025-26 draw against Manchester City on Sunday and is expected to face around two months on the sidelines according to reports in British media.
Madueke started the game on the right wing and looked bright during the first half at the Emirates but was replaced by Buykayo Saka at half-time. Subsequent footage showed the winger limping down the tunnel at the break.
“He had an issue very early in the match and he wasn’t well enough to continue,” Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta said post-match.
The 23-year-old England international, who joined the north London club this summer from Chelsea, has been one of the most sparkling attackers for Arteta this season.

The specifics of the injury have not been disclosed in detail, but club medical staff have indicated that it will require a recovery period of about eight weeks. This means that Madueke will miss several crucial matches, including key fixtures in the domestic competitions and European competitions.
A two-month layoff is not ideal for the Gunners, especially with Bukayo Saka only just returning from an injury of his own on Sunday.
