But the scooter driver tried to escape. The scooter slipped while running and the driver fell on the road. As soon as he fell, he opened fire on the police team, on which the woman police also retaliated and the criminal was shot in the leg. After this he fell and caught.

ACP Upasana Pandey said that the name of the arrested accused is Jitendra, who currently lives in Vijay Nagar and is originally a resident of Aligarh. There are several cases registered against Jitendra at Vijay Nagar police station and more than 8 robbery cases are registered against him in various police stations of the district. Police recovered stolen scooter, pistol, stolen mobile and tablet from him. The injured criminal has been admitted to the hospital for treatment.
