The government said that this time the maximum productivity linked bonus (PLB) will be Rs 17,951, which is equivalent to a 78 -day salary. This amount will be received from the maintenance of the tracks to the station master and employees working in the ministry. For this, the government has approved a budget of Rs 1,865.68 crore.
Like every year, this time also the bonus will be paid before Durga Puja and Dussehra. In such a situation, the employees hope that this amount will be deposited in their accounts before the festivals, which will make their Diwali and bang.
Railways have been amazing this year. In the year 2024-25, the Railways set a record of 161.49 million tonnes of freight and took around 7.3 billion passengers to their destination. For this magnificent success, this bonus is being given to employees as reward.
The Indian Railway Employees Federation demanded an increase in bonus. He said that the bonus is being given on the basis of Rs 7,000/month, but it should be done on the basis of Rs 18,000/month. Keeping this demand in mind, the government has taken this big decision.
